Highlands College seeks qualified candidates to teach COMM 103: Public Speaking and Presenting and/or COMM 215: Interpersonal Communication. The position is open to candidates of all ranks.
Highlands College offers rank advancement but not tenure. Faculty rank is determined when hired based on credentials and teaching experience. All full-time faculty are employees (non-contract) with a teaching load of 24 to 30 credit hours per academic year or as needed to meet program needs. There is no research requirement.

- Master’s degree in communication from an accredited institution (Alternatively, a completed master’s degree not in the field plus 18 graduate hours in the course content area would be considered.)
- Passion for biblical higher education
- Familiarity with learning management systems
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with faculty, staff, and students with diverse perspectives
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Compatibility with the institution’s Christian vision and mission
- Affirmation of the College Statement of Faith
- Active member at Church of the Highlands or willingness to become one
