What do you love about your role?
We love watching people experience life change and freedom at such a pivotal age! We remember so many leaders who poured into us in our college years, so it’s been extraordinary to give in ways that impacted us at that age.
How does being the first HC Alumni to be placed in Utah feel?
It is humbling to be used by God; we are so thankful we said YES.
What do you love about Salt Lake City so far?
The mountains are incredible! There is so much to do here! Our list keeps growing of everything we want to see and do.
How did you get connected to The Well?
We found The Well through the ARC (Association of Related Churches) website and got connected to Pastor Jason and Erica at The Well.

How do you see God using The Well to bring life into your city?
Being in a predominantly Mormon state, the Lord is breaking a spirit of religion and stirring revival in Utah.
What are your favorite memories as you reflect on your time at Highlands College?
The friends that we made, Expedition, Sports but our favorite was Saturate. We fell in love with the Word of God at HC and were taught so many practical tools on how to dive in and understand the Word better. It changed our lives.
What is your favorite hobby or way to spend a day off?
We have come to like hiking and skiing in the winter.
How would you encourage a younger HC Alum just starting in ministry?
Trust that God is good even if your timing doesn’t reflect His goodness. Be rooted where you are and be a good steward of what He has given you, even if it feels too big or small. Stay rooted until God asks you to do something different and then be flexible when He does. How you end one season is how you begin another. He put those desires in you for a reason; trust He will see them to fruition.

Are there any stories or testimonies that you want to share?
We have seen people leave the Mormon religion and find the freedom that comes when understanding the grace that God has given us undeservingly. We have also met a few young adults who have escaped a cult that is local to us and watched them find their place in the church. It’s incredible.
What are you most excited about for the future?
We are most excited to continue to be a part of what God has been doing, seeing more people saved and free of religion. We are almost in our new building and can’t wait for that!
