- Memory (RAM): Recommended: 32 GB (needed for Adobe Creative Cloud apps running together)
- Graphics (GPU): Apple Silicon integrated GPU (M2/M3 Pro or better) OR NVIDIA RTX 3060 / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or higher (6 GB+ VRAM)
- Storage: Minimum: 512 GB SSD
- Other: 14”+ Retina or 4K display (for color accuracy)
- Wi-Fi 6, Thunderbolt/USB-C ports
- Built-in webcam and microphone
- Optional: external monitor for editing comfort
Worship + Tech Arts Majors

- Software & Licenses:
- WSHP 341 Live Music Technologies: Ableton Live 10 license provided by Church of the Highlands (no additional fee).
- WSHP 441 Recording Technologies: Logic Pro required ($199.99 license – Student Experience Fee).
- TECH students will use MxU ($999 annually – Student Experience Fee)
All Other Ministry Majors
These programs primarily require basic productivity tools (Word/Pages, PowerPoint/Keynote, email, and web browsing).
- Processor: Modern dual-core (Intel i5 / Apple M1 or newer / AMD Ryzen 5 equivalent)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM or more
- Storage: 256 GB SSD or larger
- Ports: HDMI or USB-C video out (for projectors/classroom screens)
- Operating System: Windows 11 or macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer
- Battery: At least 6–8 hours per charge
- Other: SD Card reader recommended
