Commencement marks a pivotal moment in every Highlands College student’s ministry journey. It is a meaningful celebration of recognizing the transformation that has happened during your student’s time at Highlands College. It also marks the beginning of a new season of being sent to lead and stepping into what God has next for them.
We cannot wait to gather together and celebrate your student on Saturday, May 2. As we approach this impactful day, you can find all the details you need to celebrate their big day with us below.

Friday
- 5:30-7:00 p.m. | Chancellor’s Reception
Saturday | Commencement Day
- 8:30-9:30 a.m. | Graduate Check-In and Portraits
- 9:30 a.m. | Rehearsal and Doors Open for Guests
- 10:00 a.m. | Commencement Ceremony Begins
We kindly ask that all guests arrive on time. The processional utilizes the main entrances to the auditorium, so guests who arrive late will not be able to enter the auditorium until the processional concludes.
Commencement Ceremony Tickets
To best accommodate all of our graduates and their friends and family, each graduate will receive tickets for up to six guests. Next month, you will receive a formal invitation with detailed instructions and registration information for your student’s tickets. We will provide a link to the live commencement stream for friends and family who cannot attend.
