THERE ARE RARE MOMENTS in the life of an institution when the future feels close enough to touch—when vision collides with reality, and the trajectory of what could be begins to take the shape of what will be. At Highlands College, we are living in such a moment.

The vision is bold, but the heart behind it is simple: we exist to supply the Church with leaders—leaders of character, competence, and spiritual maturity—who are fully prepared to fulfill the Great Commission.

Our Path to 1,000 is one of our most significant spiritual initiatives. We aim to educate and equip 1,000 students annually, each of whom will be sent to churches and communities across the globe to lead lives of eternal impact. These aren’t just students; they’re world-changers in the making. Each student represents a church launched, a generation discipled, a family restored, and a community reached.

As we prepare to welcome this growing student body, Highlands College is expanding across every dimension—constructing new world-class facilities, hiring more faculty, and enhancing our training environments. From state-of-the-art classrooms to expanded residential spaces, athletic facilities, and new discipleship courses—every brick and blueprint reflects our commitment to excellence and the students who will walk these halls.

Training 1,000 students annually is a holy responsibility we do not take lightly. With each step forward, we are stewarding the future of the Church. It’s a privilege to train more leaders so that more may be sent into the harvest field.

This future of eternal impact doesn’t unfold on vision alone—it requires faithful Kingdom investment by believers who understand that God’s Kingdom expanding across the earth is often planted in the quiet faithfulness of generosity.

A Strategic Path Forward

Highlands College is answering the heart cry of Jesus in Luke 10:2: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”

In response to this urgent need, we have written the vision and made it plain, following the instruction of God in Habakkuk 2. The Highlands College 2025-2029 Strategic Plan is a bold and prayerful roadmap for the next five years, representing our shared calling to raise leaders who will amplify and accelerate the Great Commission. While our plan lasts five years, we pray its impact will be eternal.

We invite you to read it, pray over it, and join us on this remarkable journey to build America’s Ministry Leadership University that equips leaders to make disciples of all nations. ■
